Beginner Friendly. Low-maintenance and highly tolerant of low-light conditions and dry air.
Low to bright indirect light. Avoid direct hot afternoon sun, which can bleach or burn the patterned leaves.
Low to Moderate. Water thoroughly when the top 3-4 cm of potting mix is dry. Relatively drought-tolerant; avoid waterlogged soils.
Peat-rich, well-aerated potting mix. A standard indoor potting mix with added perlite and coco coir works beautifully.
Adapts well to average indoor temperatures and humidity. Protect from freezing winter temperatures and cold, drafty positions.
Stem cuttings or division. Gently divide mature root clumps during repotting in spring.
